The holiday farm is in the middle of a 30 Ha farm in which cultivation is completely organic; the level grounds are planted with fruit trees (plums, pears, peaches) whereas the hilly grounds are planted with vineyards. The grapevines cultivated in the farm produce the famous red wine Rosso Piceno DOC (Montepulciano, Sangiovese, Merlot vines) and the native white wine Falerio (Trebbiano, Passerina, Pecorino vines).

Some years ago the owners, Geremia and Mariella and their children, decided to restore one of the three old farmhouses present in their farm. They built the Holiday Farm “La Casa degli Gnomi” rebuilding the house by means of conservative restoration. The name of this place , dedicated to “the gnomes”, derives from the fondness the owners have for these “special” inhabitants of the woods and the countries. Their name derives from the Greek language “gnomos” that means “to know”, in fact their special “knowledge” helps the animals and the plants of the wood. For this reason they are always necessary and welcome in a farm!
